So, it’s 2020… What has it been like for you?

Do you have experiences to share?

I do.

In the few days of being in the new year, certain things haven’t gone as planned. And for someone like me, occurrence like this have a way of affecting my productivity and in some weird ways, it also affects my self worth.

To avoid being in a zone that is not so helpful, I am trying out a few things that have become really powerful.

One of which is the use of affirmations. ( I may share other personal tools in another blog post).

Affirmations are positive, assertive words you repeat to yourself to bring to your consciousness truths about yourself that you most times forget. – EmpoweredEve

(It feels good to have my own definition in a quote…lol)

So in the past few days of being faced with some challenges, I have found praying and affirmations really helpful. I decided to take the affirmation dose a step further by having words designed into phone wallpapers.
It worked wonders when I unlocked my phone and the words I read made me smile.

Now, I have decided to share this with you. I hope it makes you smile too at moments when you really need it. But much more than that, I hope you believe these words enough to be built up by them.
